About Suicide Silence

Suicide Silence is a California deathcore band whose guitar sound rests on low-tuned, extended-range instruments. Lead guitarist Mark Heylmun plays Jackson: in April 2023 Jackson launched the Pro Series Signature Mark Heylmun Rhoads RR24-7, a seven-string made with him, with a Randy Rhoads-style body, a 26.5-inch scale, a compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets, a nyatoh body and a through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement. He had earlier been part of Jackson's American Series Soloist SL3 launch.

Heylmun's father was a professional guitarist who moved from Massachusetts to Los Angeles and played in a band that supported Randy Rhoads' pre-Ozzy group Quiet Riot. Guitar.com notes that Heylmun was only 19 when Suicide Silence played a pivotal part in deathcore's rise in the US metal scene, mixing death metal's growls with hardcore beatdowns.

An Equipboard page lists an ESP LTD SC-607B seven-string baritone for him, a Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier and an Ibanez TS9, but it is an aggregator listing and does not say who uses what. Chris Garza plays rhythm guitar, and I found no reliable source for his rig.
