A curated shelf, not an upload feed
Videos is for footage that is worth watching, not for everything that happens to be uploaded. Each story should tell you what you are about to see and why it matters before you press play — whether it is a live performance, a session, an unusual collaboration, a useful gear demonstration, a lesson or newly surfaced archival footage.
Where the footage comes from: official uploads from artists, labels, manufacturers and the outlets that filmed a performance are preferred. For an important live moment, clearly identifiable fan or specialist footage can also be useful when it genuinely documents the event being reported and is properly credited.
Video also appears throughout Players, Gear and Music. This section is reserved for stories where the footage itself is central to the story.
