Guitar music beyond one scene
A release does not need a major label or an established name to belong on Guitar Radar if the guitar work, the project or the collaboration is worth discovering. Independent labels, regional scenes, instrumental records and projects that sit between genres are covered alongside larger releases — from rock and metal to jazz, blues, classical guitar, flamenco, bluegrass, fingerstyle, ambient and experimental music.
Release dates are treated as facts: they come from the artist's, label's or release's own listing whenever possible, not simply from the date a news article appeared. A verified streaming player is added when available, and releases with a firm future date can be covered when they are announced.
Browse by genre, follow individual artists, or use Guitar Week to catch the strongest music stories alongside the rest of the week's guitar news.
