Avantone Pro launches GTR-100 power amp for guitar modelers
The 1U Class A/B stereo amp is built to take modelers onstage with up to 140 watts per channel and an analog cab-sim XLR output.

Avantone Pro has introduced the GTR-100, a two-channel Class A/B power amplifier aimed specifically at guitarists using modelers and effects processors. It delivers 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 140 watts per channel at 4 ohms, or 245 watts bridged mono at 8 ohms, with switchable line/instrument inputs and independent channel levels.
The 1U rack unit also includes a switchable four-band EQ, XLR THRU outputs with an analog cabinet simulation option, 14-stage metering and stereo operation for delays and modulation. MMR reports a US MAP of $599 and an EU suggested price of €799 including 19% VAT, with shipping expected late Q3 or early Q4 2026.
Why it matters
Most modeler conversations focus on the processor itself; the GTR-100 addresses the less glamorous but important problem of getting a stereo digital rig loud onstage without adding another guitar amp's coloration.
