Flamenco soloist and multi-instrumentalist Amir John Haddad, known as EL AMIR, has introduced the Fire & Flames signature high-gain distortion with Spanish builder LuxuryToneFX. The hand-built pedal is designed to preserve note separation and picking dynamics at heavy saturation levels.
Its circuit places a calibrated dynamics filter before the gain stage to remove excess bass and sharpen the attack, while enhanced power filtering targets a lower noise floor. Haddad describes the result as a lead voice spanning blues through metal rather than a single-style distortion.

Why it matters
A flamenco-rooted virtuoso and a small Spanish builder are applying technique-first priorities to modern high gain, making this more distinctive than a routine boutique overdrive release.
