Zoom has introduced NEURIG, a floor-based amp and effects modeler built around its DNA Engine and native support for NAM A2 Lite. The company says the unit can access more than 700,000 community amp captures and impulse responses through TONE3000, while its SessionZ cloud tools can build tones from text prompts, analyze YouTube sessions and separate stems for practice.

The hardware offers 139 effects, chains of up to 14 effects, 200 rigs and 75 factory presets. Four footswitches sit below twin touch displays, and the connections include stereo outputs, an effects loop, MIDI, Wi-Fi and USB audio. Zoom also lists a 45-second looper, tuner and an internal battery rated for up to 4.5 hours; the Japanese store page shows a planned early-November release at ¥47,800.

Why it matters

NEURIG brings open NAM capture compatibility and AI-assisted practice tools into a self-contained floor unit, giving guitarists another serious option in the increasingly crowded neural-modeling market.
