The German songwriter’s title track puts a battered prewar guitar and a stripped-back delivery at the center of the frame.

German independent label Trikont published an official live video for Philip Bradatsch’s “Ich bin eine Bewegung” on October 2. The performance accompanies the album’s title track and keeps the arrangement close to the weathered, intimate character described in the record’s release notes.
Bradatsch made the project around a fragile 1936 Recording King guitar, tuning it lower to reduce strain on the neck and letting its dry sustain define the record’s sound. CINEHANS Motionpictures filmed the official video, which offers a direct look at how that unusual instrument shapes the song in performance.

Why it matters
This is a small but distinctive guitar story: an old instrument’s physical limitations become part of the composition, tuning and tone instead of merely serving as vintage decoration.
