About Henrik Linder
Henrik Linder is the Swedish bassist of Dirty Loops, known for fast, harmonically adventurous playing. His signature bass is the Mattisson Bass Series IV, a Swedish-built instrument with True Temperament frets; he has said he plays Swedish Mattisson six- and seven-string basses exclusively and that the True Temperament frets have far better intonation than regular frets. In earlier interviews he also named a slap-focused five-string and an old Yamaha TRB6P.
His amplification is mainly EBS: an EBS Fafner or TD 660 with two Proline 4x10 cabinets, and a stereo rig in which the bass sounds go through TD 660s and four 4x10 Proline cabinets. Equipboard reports a Fractal Axe-Fx II in his rack, and in a Guitar World interview he said the signal goes into a Morningstar switching system. His pedalboard has included a 3Leaf Audio Octabvre, a Morningstar ML5 and a Dunlop Volume X Mini.
Most of these sources are from the band's early years, and his live setup later moved to a wet-dry-wet configuration, so the details have changed. Guitar Radar follows his signature gear and the band's news.
