About Polyphia
Polyphia is a band from Plano, Texas, formed in 2010 around guitarists Tim Henson and Scott LePage. It began with a heavy-metal sound and moved toward progressive rock that mixes electronic and hip-hop elements.
Both guitarists play Ibanez signature models. Henson's line began in 2019 with the THBB10, and his current model is the TOD10, with a basswood body, a roasted maple neck, a 24-fret ebony fretboard with a Tree of Death inlay and Fishman Fluence pickups; he also has a nylon-string TOD10N. LePage plays the ash-bodied KRYS10 with Fluence Custom pickups. Henson also worked with Neural DSP on the Archetype: Tim Henson plugin, which includes his Multivoicer attachment.
