About Scotti Hill

Scotti Hill is a guitarist of Skid Row, which he joined when the band formed in Toms River, New Jersey in 1986 after answering a newspaper ad, alongside guitarist Dave Snake Sabo and bassist Rachel Bolan; he has stayed with the band through the Sebastian Bach years, the 1999 reformation and the present lineup.

He is known as a hands-on gear tinkerer. In an interview with the band's site he said he had recently acquired producer Michael Wagener's personal ADA MP-1 preamp, a unit associated with the band's sound, and that he assembled Kramer's Striker line of guitars and worked on some Steinbergers. Premier Guitar has reported that he and StewMac created a Hooligan Boost pedal kit. Some older forum claims about what he used on the first album, a Steinberger or a blue Spector, are unverified and disagree with each other.

Guitar Radar follows his pedal and guitar projects alongside Skid Row news.
