About HeadRush
HeadRush is a guitar technology brand that launched in 2017 under the inMusic group, with the Pedalboard as its first product. Its processing is based on Avid's Eleven platform: the Eleven HD Expanded DSP engine, originally developed for the Eleven Rack, was rebuilt into a quad-core design for floor use, according to a retailer account.
The Pedalboard has a 7-inch touchscreen, and MusicRadar's 2019 review called it a worthy if familiar competitor to the Line 6 Helix. The Gigboard is a smaller sibling with the same processing and screen but fewer inputs and a 20-minute looper; reviewers praised the touchscreen but noted a limited effects roster and a fairly bulky body for the number of footswitches. The FRFR-108 is a powered one-by-eight-inch full-range speaker cabinet for modelers, with a battery-powered version aimed at practice and small gigs.
HeadRush is also among the hardware makers that have said they will support TONE3000's NAM A2. Guitar Radar follows HeadRush's new products and firmware.
