About JAM Pedals
JAM Pedals is a boutique effects maker based in Athens, Greece, and its pedals are handcrafted rather than mass-produced. Reviewers describe the brand's aim as a distinct line of effects positioned in the sound of the 1960s and 1970s, with NOS chips, transistors and carbon-composition resistors and true-bypass wiring.
Its best-known pedal is the Delay Llama, a fully analog tape-style echo with up to 600 ms of delay, built around BBD chips along with reproductions of the Panasonic MN3205. The Mk.3 added tap tempo with subdivisions and a hold function that makes the delay self-oscillate, and the Delay Llama Supreme version added a modulation section and expression inputs. Retailers also single out the Wahcko Wah as one of the most sweet-sounding and expressive wah pedals on the market, and the range includes the Rattler overdrive.
I found no published founding history for the company in sources I could verify. Guitar Radar follows new JAM Pedals releases and limited runs.
