About SolidGoldFX
SolidGoldFX is a Montreal boutique pedal company founded in 2006 by Greg Djerrahian, who left a corporate career to pursue his passion for vintage effects. Pedals for guitar and bass are built by hand in Montreal and individually tested and approved by Djerrahian. The company has acquired another Canadian pedal brand, Diamond Pedals, and both lines are manufactured under the same roof while staying distinct.
The Electroman delay is part of its legacy, and the EM-III builds on it. The 76 Mk II is an octave fuzz that updates the circuit which raised the company's profile, a silicon fuzz with switchable octave-up inspired by the Ibanez Standard Fuzz. The Imperial MkII is a gated fuzz inspired by the JEN Jumbo Fuzz and Big Muff, with four sliders for volume, tone, contour and fuzz and a silicon noise gate that SolidGoldFX says produces virtually zero noise.
