Charvel adds four Pro-Mod Plus Dinky DK24 models aimed squarely at metal players
Three new humbucker-loaded configurations and one HSS join the Pro-Mod Plus DK24 line, with Floyd Rose or hardtail bridges, Seymour Duncan pickups and finishes running from satin black to a green ombre called zombie face.

Charvel's Pro-Mod Plus Dinky DK24 has always been a no-nonsense shred platform, and the four models added on 19 August widen the menu rather than rework it. All keep the lightweight double-cut body, 24 stainless steel jumbo frets, a sculpted heel for upper-fret reach and a five-way blade switch.
Three of the new guitars run humbucker pairs. The HH FR EB (crimson eclipse or satin black) and the HH FR QM EB (cloaked emerald green, with a quilt maple top) both use a recessed Floyd Rose 1500 Series double-locking trem and a Seymour Duncan Nazgul and Sentient set on a basswood body. The HH HT EB swaps to an ash body and a string-through Charvel HT6 hardtail, in creme white or black ash. The lone HSS model, the HSS 2PT QM, pairs a Full Shred bridge humbucker with two single coils and wears the loudest finishes of the group: a yellow-green ombre called zombie face and a striped amber tiger eye.
US pricing runs from $1,199 for the HH HT EB up to $1,399 for the quilt-topped models; UK prices land between roughly 1,149 and 1,299 pounds. Charvel put out a demo of the HH and HSS models with Phil Short alongside the announcement.

Why it matters
The DK24 sits in the mid-price bracket where a lot of working metal and hard-rock players actually shop, below the Japanese-built Pro-Mod San Dimas customs but above import-level gear. Offering both trem and hardtail options inside one spec family makes the line an easier recommendation.
