Jackson has released the Pro Series Signature Chris Rörland SL7 Soloist, the Sabaton guitarist’s first signature model with the company. The satin-black seven-string uses a neck-through three-piece maple neck, nyatoh body, ebony fingerboard and a 26.5-inch scale intended to keep low tunings stable.

An EMG 81-7H at the bridge and 85-7H at the neck feed a single volume control and three-way toggle, while a recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series handles pitch work. Rörland also moved the volume knob out of his picking path and placed the selector close enough for mid-solo changes. The guitar is available now at $1,599.99 with a gig bag.

Why it matters

This is a focused production seven-string built around the practical demands of a touring metal player, not a cosmetic endorsement.
