Reverend has introduced its Standard Series with two bolt-on electric guitars: the Charger Standard and Kingbolt Standard. The Charger uses a string-through hardtail bridge, while the Kingbolt adds the company’s BS184 tremolo; both are built around new uncovered HCM humbuckers with medium ceramic magnets.

The bridge pickup uses 43-gauge wire and measures 13k ohms, while the neck model uses 42-gauge wire at 7.5k ohms. Both guitars add Reverend’s Bass Contour control, roasted-maple necks with a 25.5-inch scale and 12-inch radius, stainless-steel saddles and Pin-Lock tuners. Street prices are $999 for the Charger and $1,099 for the Kingbolt.

Why it matters

Reverend is creating a clearly defined entry point for players who want the brand’s electronics and neck design in a simpler, higher-output rock platform.
