Warm Audio’s new WA-C1 Mod brings its analog chorus-and-vibrato recreation into a narrower enclosure with top-mounted jacks. The core BBD design remains, with independent chorus depth and rate, a dedicated vibrato section, selectable input sensitivity and wet/dry stereo outputs.
The important functional addition is a Vintage/Modern switch that either engages the character of the analog preamp or bypasses it for cleaner gain staging. Warm Audio lists the pedal at $199 and backs it with the company’s five-year warranty.

Why it matters
A bypassable preamp makes the circuit more flexible in complex rigs, while the smaller format tackles the most obvious compromise of the full-size WA-C1.
