About Warm Audio
Warm Audio is an Austin, Texas pro-audio maker founded in 2011 by Bryce Young, built on the idea of making high-end recording gear affordable for everyday musicians and engineers. It first became known for studio hardware: the WA-12 microphone preamp was an early product, and the range grew to include the WA-76 FET compressor, the WA-2A optical compressor (a 2017 TEC Award winner), the WA-47 and WA-87 condenser microphones, and Neve 1073-style preamps.
More recently the company has moved into guitar pedals, applying the same philosophy of classic circuits built with modern components. The company designs and tests its products in-house in Austin, and says each unit is hand-inspected before shipping.
Guitar Radar follows Warm Audio's pedals and its studio gear that guitarists use.
