Bobby Previte released Visitor II: Electric Guitar on October 2 as the second installment in his expanding Visitor solo series. The project asks established musicianship to work through an unfamiliar instrument: Previte performs every part on electric guitar even though he is best known as a drummer.
The eight pieces were recorded live in real time without overdubbing, preserving the decisions and limits of the performance rather than building conventional layered guitar arrangements. Jamie Saft mastered the album, whose cover artwork is by Alan Coon. The release is available to stream and download from Previte’s Bandcamp page.

Why it matters
The album treats electric guitar as an unfamiliar compositional tool, offering a distinctive perspective on technique, instinct and the habits players acquire on their primary instruments.
