Eagles have added January 8 and 9, 2027 to their long-running Las Vegas residency at Sphere. The two dates join previously announced January 15, 16, 22 and 23 shows, extending a run that began in September 2024. The official Eagles site now lists all six January performances alongside eight dates in November and December 2026.

The additions bring the residency to 74 shows across 37 weekends, according to Guitar World, further extending the venue record Eagles already hold. More than one million people have attended the Sphere production so far. The band’s current live lineup centres on Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey; guitarist Chris Holt joined the touring group in 2025.

Artist presales for the new dates are scheduled to begin October 28 at 10 a.m. Pacific, with VIP availability from October 22 and the general sale set for October 30. Sphere’s own listing now carries the residency through January 23, 2027. Standard public ticketing for the newly added January 8 and 9 performances shows starting prices from $175 before fees.

The extension is incremental rather than a new production, but it demonstrates how strongly a guitar-led legacy act has adapted to a venue built around immersive visuals. Joe Walsh’s catalogue remains a major live feature, while the expanded schedule gives the band another six-show block rather than a brief farewell add-on.

Why it matters

The two extra dates push an already record-setting residency further into 2027 and underline the continuing demand for a large-scale, guitar-centred catalogue show at Sphere.
