Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced a 2026 reunion tour as Rush
Fifty Something opens June 7 at the same Los Angeles venue where Rush played its last show with Neil Peart, with drummer Anika Nilles filling in — and, by demand, later grew to dozens more dates.

Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson announced the Fifty Something Tour on October 6, 2025 — their first shows together in eleven years and the band's first live dates since Neil Peart's death. It opens June 7, 2026 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, the same venue where Rush closed its R40 Tour with Peart in August 2015, and runs through Fort Worth, Chicago, New York, Toronto, Cleveland, and Mexico City. German drummer Anika Nilles, who has toured with Jeff Beck and released four solo albums, joins Lee and Lifeson on drums.
The original seven-city run sold out, and Rush added 17 more cities on October 20, 2025 — including Philadelphia, Boston, Montreal, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, and Vancouver — stretching the tour from August through December 2026. Each show is built as two sets pulled from a 35-song catalog.
Why it matters
This is the first time Lee and Lifeson have toured as Rush since Peart's death, and the tour's original run selling out fast enough to justify 17 more cities says something about how much appetite there still is for it.
