Florence Road’s first North American headline tour nearly lost an important festival stop after the band’s equipment was stolen from a van following its September 23 show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles. The group initially cancelled its September 25 Ohana appearance because it no longer had the instruments needed to perform.
Eddie Vedder and the Ohana team found Florence Road a new slot on September 26, and Vedder lent vocalist-guitarist Lily Aron his own instrument for the set. Fender also helped with replacement guitars. The band returned to its headline schedule in New York on September 28, turning a potentially tour-ending setback into a rare example of practical artist support on a festival bill.

Why it matters
This is more than a backstage kindness story: a working band salvaged a major early-career performance because established artists, a festival and a manufacturer solved an immediate gear crisis together.
