John Mayer has announced six performances at Sphere in Las Vegas for April 8, 10, 11, 15, 17 and 18, 2027. Each evening is structured as three distinct sets: Mayer alone, a full-band performance and the John Mayer Trio with drummer Steve Jordan and bassist Pino Palladino.
The solo portion will lean on acoustic guitar while also making room for piano and electric guitar. VIP and travel packages open September 30, fan presales begin October 7 and the general sale starts October 9. The production will use Sphere’s wraparound display and immersive audio system rather than treating the venue as a conventional residency room.
Why it matters
Mayer is using one of the world’s most technically unusual venues to contrast three sides of his guitar work in the same show, with the trio lineup returning as a central part of the format.
