The 13th International Guitar Festival of Lagoa begins September 18 and runs through October 1 across several venues in the Algarve municipality. Lagoa's municipal event information says the festival is organized with the Algarve Guitar Association and places guitar concerts in locations chosen to connect the programme with the area's cultural and architectural setting.
Tickets are listed at €8 and are already on sale. The event has grown through twelve previous editions and returns as a multi-venue guitar series rather than a single-night concert, giving listeners a sustained programme running into World Music Day on October 1.
