Olivia Rodrigo opened the Unraveled Tour in Hartford on September 25 with two custom electrics at the center of her onstage guitar setup. A relic-finished, single-pickup Jazzmaster handles lead work on “Maggots for Brains,” while a baby-pink heart-shaped guitar gives the set its most unusual silhouette.
Los Angeles repairer and luthier Luis Munoz built the heart guitar by hand after five body prototypes, balancing the visual idea against comfort, playability and sound. For a player with access to every major guitar company, choosing a small East LA shop makes the instrument as much a builder story as a pop-tour detail.
