Jackson and Phil Collen have extended a relationship that dates back to the 1980s with the Pro Series Signature Phil Collen PC1-E. The important change is accessibility within Jackson's own range: this is Collen's first signature model offered outside the Custom Shop.
The mahogany-bodied Dinky pairs a caramelized maple neck with an ebony 12–16-inch compound-radius fingerboard and 24 jumbo frets. Electronics combine a DiMarzio X2N bridge humbucker, Sugar Chakra middle pickup and Jackson PC1 Sustainer Driver with an 18V system. Push-pull coil splitting and a Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo round out a specification that remains unusually feature-heavy for a production signature model.
The PC1-E comes in Worn Black with distressed nitro lacquer and gold hardware, priced at $2,199.99 in the US.

Why it matters
A long-running Custom Shop signature design is moving into regular Pro Series production without losing the Sustainer-heavy electronics that make Collen's PC1 distinctive.
