Jackson has launched the Legend Series with four production instruments modeled on career-defining guitars and basses. The opening group covers Randy Rhoads’ white Concorde-style CD1, Scott Ian’s “Not” Rhoads V, Marty Friedman’s angular KE-1 and David Ellefson’s five-string Concert Bass CB V.
The $2,499 Randy Rhoads CD1 leads the range with an alder body, a bound compound-radius ebony fingerboard, Seymour Duncan JB and ’59 humbuckers, and a vintage-style six-saddle tremolo. The other models preserve similarly specific visual and construction cues rather than merely borrowing the artists’ names.

Why it matters
This is a tightly focused archive program that turns four historically important Jackson instruments into current production models. It also gives players distinct guitar and bass entry points instead of a single commemorative release.
