Queens of the Stone Age announced their ninth studio album on August 26. Titled 'Perfecth' — Homme's deliberate misspelling of a word he says never sat right — it lands October 30 on Matador Records, following 2023's 'In Times New Roman...'
The band put out the single 'Insignificant Other' alongside the news, an official lyric video going up on their channel the day before. The record runs nine tracks and was produced by Homme with bassist Michael Shuman. It also includes a re-recording of 'Sunday,' a song Homme first cut for the Iggy Pop collaboration 'Post Pop Depression.'
The rollout has been running for weeks, with an earlier taster and a typically odd reveal campaign before the album details firmed up. A tour is expected to follow the release.
