Guitarist Renee Perez and violinist Svitlana Remniakova released A Touch of Sound on September 18. Apple Music Classical lists a program built around violin-and-guitar repertoire and arrangements, including Torelli’s Violin Concerto in A major arranged for violin and guitar, Vivaldi, Vaňhal and Paganini.
The track list moves between Baroque material and later classical repertoire, giving the guitar an ensemble role rather than treating it as a solo recital instrument. That makes the record a useful find for players interested in chamber programming and violin-guitar duo repertoire.
