Tygers of Pan Tang released their new studio album Electrifyed on September 11. The band's official site confirmed the release on CD, vinyl and streaming platforms, while its official Bandcamp page documents the same release date and presents the ten-track album.
The record leans deliberately into the band's New Wave of British Heavy Metal roots while keeping the current lineup in focus. It is also guitarist John Foottit's first studio album appearance with Tygers of Pan Tang, joining founding guitarist Robb Weir in the recorded lineup.
That combination makes Electrifyed more than another catalog release: it connects one of NWOBHM's surviving original names with a newly configured two-guitar lineup and a consciously heavier direction.
