Wage War have announced a new album, Landfall, for digital release on October 9 via Fearless Records. The announcement arrived on September 6 alongside the title track, with rhythm guitarist and clean vocalist Cody Quistad and lead guitarist Seth Blake anchoring a deliberately heavy arrangement built around a blunt, low-slung riff.
The band describes the song through hurricane imagery drawn from its Florida roots, using the sense of an approaching storm as the musical and lyrical frame. For guitar listeners, the release is a useful snapshot of Wage War leaning into groove and weight without dropping the melodic contrast that has become part of the band’s sound.
