Eric Johnson has mapped out a 38-date U.S. tour for April and May 2026, working through Florida, Alabama, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona in April before turning west through California, Utah, Colorado, and back through Texas in May. Stops include Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Diego, Denver, and a run of California dates from Anaheim to Napa.

Most nights are solo Eric Johnson shows, but a couple break from that pattern: Kenny Wayne Shepherd joins him for the Fort Lauderdale and Jacksonville dates, and the Austin stop folds into the Austin Blues Festival. The tour follows Johnson's 2022 double album The Book of Making and Yesterday Meets Today, and comes not long after he shared stages with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai on a run of G3 dates.

Why it matters

A tour this size from a guitarist known for studio perfectionism and comparatively sparse touring is worth planning around if he's coming through a nearby city — Johnson doesn't keep a schedule this packed often.
