Guitar Summit 2026 is underway at the Mannheim Rosengarten from September 25–27, filling four floors with more than 600 exhibitors and running over 100 workshops across seven stages. Now in its eighth edition, the show bills itself as Europe's biggest guitar event, and last year's edition drew roughly 14,600 visitors, about 30 percent of them attending for the first time.

Exhibitors on site span major manufacturers and boutique builders alike, including Duesenberg, ESP, Ibanez, D'Addario, Yamaha, Schecter, Eventide, Blackstar Amplification and Hagstrom. The featured-artist lineup leans heavily on technique-driven and genre-crossing players: Jared James Nichols, Matteo Mancuso, Andy McKee, Darryl Jones, Rabea Massaad, Julie Malia, Devin Townsend and Greg Koch are all appearing across the weekend's workshops and stage sessions.

With the show running through Sunday, it's as much a hands-on trade floor as a performance event — gear demos, workshops and artist sessions running in parallel across the Rosengarten's full floor space.

Why it matters

It's one of the few guitar events built simultaneously around gear (600+ exhibitors), education (100+ workshops) and performance (a genuinely varied artist lineup) in one place, rather than emphasizing just one of those angles.
