Manson Guitar Works has added President guitarists Heist and Protest to its artist roster and revealed custom extended-range instruments for both players. Protest is using an extended-scale five-string MV bass, while Heist has received a custom baritone seven-string Verona Modern fitted with Fishman humbuckers and an EverTune bridge.

Guitar World notes that the instruments do not appear in Manson's regular catalog and that Heist's build may be the company's first seven-string baritone. The move follows Matt Bellamy's own use of an eight-string Manson Oryx and points to a broader push by the British builder into extended-range metal instruments.

Because these appear to be bespoke artist builds rather than repeatable retail products, this is a story-only candidate rather than a releases-catalog entry.

Why it matters

Manson is visibly expanding beyond its long association with Muse into extended-range modern metal, and President gives that shift a second high-profile artist platform.
