TONE3000 brings its NAM A2 plugin directly to the Octave HS-1
The portable Windows-based HS-1 will ship with TONE3000 preinstalled, putting NAM A2 captures, VST hosting and recording tools into one touchscreen guitar rig.

TONE3000 and Octave Technologies have integrated the free TONE3000 Plugin into the Octave HS-1, with the software set to come preinstalled on new units. The September 10 announcement says the HS-1 will run both the standalone and VST3 versions, with native NAM A2 support and MIDI control from the unit’s programmable footswitch.
The HS-1 is an unusual crossover between guitar hardware and a compact Windows computer: it combines a 10.1-inch touchscreen, audio interface, VST host, recording capability and battery power. TONE3000 says users can load community amp, pedal, cabinet and IR captures directly on the device, while existing HS-1 owners can install the plugin for free.
For guitarists interested in capture-based rigs, the notable part is not another plugin release but the way an open NAM ecosystem is moving directly into purpose-built stage hardware. The HS-1 can also host other Windows VST3 software, making this a broader attempt to blur the line between a modeler, computer and recording interface.
Why it matters
NAM-based guitar tones are moving from desktop workflows into self-contained stage hardware. The HS-1 integration gives TONE3000 a direct hardware route while keeping the wider Windows/VST ecosystem available.
