Accept have released Teutonic Titans 1976–2026, a 19-track collection of newly recorded songs marking the band's 50th anniversary. The album arrived September 4 through Napalm Records and rebuilds material from the group's early catalogue with a rotating cast of 50 guest musicians.

Wolf Hoffmann remains the guitar anchor, with Uwe Lulis alongside him in Accept's current lineup, while the guest list moves across several generations of hard rock and metal. Kirk Hammett appears on 'Fast As A Shark,' Matthias Jabs joins 'Balls to the Wall,' Billy Corgan plays on 'Love Child,' and the broader lineup also includes Paul Gilbert, K. K. Downing, Ola Englund and Jeff Loomis.

Rather than a conventional compilation, the project treats the anniversary as a large-scale re-recording exercise: each track uses a different combination of guests around Accept's core sound.

Why it matters

For guitar players, the appeal is in hearing a single riff-heavy catalogue refracted through an unusually deep guest list of players with very different styles and eras behind them.
