Rush has announced a five-date residency at Sphere in Las Vegas under the title Elevate from the Norm. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will perform on May 21, 23, 26, 28 and 30, 2027, with drummer Anika Nilles and keyboardist Loren Gold joining the lineup. The official announcement describes each night as a celebration of the band’s catalog, legacy and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart, combining fan favorites with a production designed specifically for Sphere.
Lee says the group is expanding the visual ideas behind its current Fifty Something tour for the venue. The musical plan is unusually substantial: Rush intends to play 2112 and Moving Pictures in full alongside other material. That makes the residency more than a short greatest-hits booking, while Sphere’s wraparound display system gives the band’s long-established interest in synchronized visuals a purpose-built stage.
VIP and travel packages open on November 6, followed by an artist presale on November 11 and the general on-sale on November 13. The announcement extends a reunion-era campaign that has already sold more than one million tickets and gives guitar audiences a clearly defined next chapter for Lifeson’s return to large-scale live work. Each of the five dates is billed as a distinct full show rather than a supporting appearance.
Why it matters
The residency turns Rush’s reunion into a purpose-built audiovisual production and promises two landmark albums in full, putting Alex Lifeson’s live return at the center of a major 2027 guitar event.
