Aerosmith will play two California, Dream On concerts at the Hollywood Bowl on October 29 and November 1, returning to a full-show format after Steven Tyler's vocal injury ended the band's touring plans. The event is billed as Aerosmith & Friends, with lineups varying by night.
The guest pool includes the Black Crowes, Heart, Slash, Tom Morello, Jerry Cantrell, Nuno Bettencourt, Marcus King, Billy Idol, Run-DMC and Sammy Hagar. Don Was will serve as music director, and a portion of proceeds will support Janie's Fund.
Why it matters
These are Aerosmith's first announced proper concerts after the band retired from touring, making the two-night stand more consequential than a routine tour-date addition.
